Unfortunately I am developing under NDA argh but deploying on 7.02 - and
there are BIG differences I am keeping to myself.
How can we really test something but the real world and I am at the halfway
point of a real ball-tearer. A few more grey hairs but a major industry tool
in the offing.

I also know that Dept of Health are always after good people as well.
Are they still after that ColdFusion/Oracle guru? I've seen that advertised
so many times (and applied) and you hear nothing - so now I am a SQL Server
2005 guru instead lol!
Sorry Andrew, what have I missed here? Peter said he developed an
application under Scorpio but deployed to 7.x. Unless I missed that
in the NDA there shouldn't be a problem with making that statement.
Exactly - many public statements have been made to the effect that some beta
testers
CF7 is so Feb 2005. The public beta for CF8 should open within the next 12
hours starting with Beta 2.

Darren Tracey and co had a great launch (with Tim Buntel also).
I would have done the same for ACT but was up there at the time. It was
good. Very good.

What version if Scorpio are you running? It only became official (beta)
earlier today with Beta 2 - but I've heard of issues - and they reckon Vista
is supported. And by the way it has been revised to be more like $18.95 per
hour. Won;t spend it all at once that's for sure. And I will still finish
.

What version if Scorpio
FTP the files? Server reboot then FTP? Reboot server verbatim? Is a file/s
being locked? When desperate sometimes the simple things work the best.
