A small request, when installing xmms I would like that also the smpeg
module be installed by default. This makes xmms a nice mpeg player, and it does not
cost much in terms of space. Maybe just pack smpeg-xmms with the xmms
package.

Well, having a rather fresh install of 9.2RC2, I went to install XawTV
so I could capture some images from my webcam.
So, went through Mandrake Control Centre, and went to Install Software
Packages.
Did a search on XawTV, and all that was listed is:
xawtv-control-3.88-4mdk

cannot reproduce with cooker gnome-terminal. either it's fixed since rc2 or
there's something more specific about your setup that's causing the problem.

I can't get transparency to work anymore on gnome panels.
Whatever the transparency setting is, the panel is always opaque.
