1. It seems that every new user asks this

never worked for me. I always got inaccurate scans until I just gave in and

I have just bought a squeezebox 3 and I am facing a problem with
internet radio. While MP3 streaming in my home network works fine, I
noticed that the squeezebox powers down (making the amplifier bang,
as when a rca plug is inserted in the plug with the amplifier open)
while listening to
OT as it might be - I had three SMC switches die on me within 3-6
months. Now switches aren't routers but I suspect that the quality of
their products isn't quite up to par with the nice spec sheets.

I often find it's helpful to start out with a Clear library and rescan
everything, then a Look for new and changed music scan. Or try a

options. And yes, it's the preferred screensaver

in is internet radio, I would totally recommend the AE Wifi Radio over
the SB3. Positives of the AE is that there are a hell of a lot of
radio stations already programmed into the radio which can be put onto

/ jumbled / missing data for Browse Albums / artists etc, though 'Browse
Music Folder' is OK and the album artwork appears to be correct.

but when I actually press play for a song or playlist, no audio streams

I ordered a wireless Squeezebox 3. When it arrived, it behaved as though
it had no wireless capability. The setup menu only provided the ethernet
option. Yet the packaging clearly indicated that this was a wireless

release. I'm on Windows XP, and am not using EAC or FLAC.

I recently decided to update to server 6.2 on an iMac running server 5.4
(OS 10.4). Now browser refresh has stopped working on any of my
computers (running Firefox) although the squeezebox itself (original
version) updates as usual. I've tried resetting the refresh time, but
