Lossless or uncompressed practically always works just fine on SB2/3. On
SB1 it is a bit borderline due to its much smaller buffer and the
throughput limits of 802.11b.
If you are having problems I would suggest viewing the signal strenth
and moving the access point or the Squeezebox if possible
Alrighty - I'll worry not! When it gets really hot up there I can't
turn on the projector or it instantly overheats.

When my computer is asleep, naturally my Squeezebox 2 shows nothing.
But, at times, after I wake the computer (and SlimServer is running)
the SB is still dark. This isn't a brightness issue, as pressing the
Power key gives the Waking SlimServer message - which should of
course not be happening -
Just got my SB3 today and had a few difficulties connecting to my
draytek 2600g. However
Upgraded firmware on it, and now works on WPA2 like a charm.
The above issues might have been solved, but thought I'dd add the post
in case (like me) you were trying to work out if it was compatible!

player. Not a bad metric, but I think there's too much variance.

I had to remove the power cable from the back of the Squeezebox for the
switch from wireless to Ethernet to take affect. Mearly changing the
settings in the setup menu wasn't enough. It must be a bug in the unit

You could try installing 'SoftSqueeze' which is the software player included
in the SlimServer package.
Use your browser to navigate to your slimserver homepage at
http://127.0.0.1:9000
(or use the IP address of your slimserver)
And follow the links at the bottom of the screen for softsqueeze.
