I'm having a weird and incessant problem with my Transporter +
SqueezeCetner that's driving me nuts. Here's my setup:

PowerBook G4 OSX 10.4.11
I've had the Transporter for over a year. I use SqueezeNetwork almost
all of the time, and hadn't used SqueezeCenter for many

new it would take you over the cost of a Boom. the creative labs T20s
are also supposed to be very good and can be had for about £50

Like peter says, you most probably have to reprogram the Xilinx. Depends
on how long you didn't play computer files. As far as I remember, there
was one firmware upgrade -- somewhere last year -- that needed a Xilinx
reset (so you don't think this is always required; normally it isn't).

AAC will be transcoded in SC. did you check to make sure you are
transcoding to wav or FLAC? you could be transcoding to mp3, thereby
transoding lossy to lossy which _will_ degrade soundquality.

Well such disturbances will be difficult to track. I can at least say

I disagree. For my tastes, the Boom has all the bass that I'd ever want
it to have.

A Sub/sat system, the sat's weigh a ton (made from metal) and are very

Also if you have a mixed player setup, say a SB1 and a SB3 and they are
synced will it downconvert for both or just the one that needs it?

I have not seen this use described here. Using Alarms in the morning
with playlists, we awake to a local non-challenging classical station,
hit forward to listen to the BBC World Service 5 minute Bulletin,
Nachrichten (news) from Deutsche Welle, the NPR Bulletin, then more
'challenging'

Artist. They're shown alphabetically by Album Name.
I have the web interface set to show Albums sorted by Artist. I can't
seem to find anything in Settings that will allow my player to display

If you select to view by Artist, you can then pick an artist, and it
will show you all the albums by that artist. Is that what you're trying
