Last night something strange happened, I was woken up by my radios and
boom playing full blast - a piece of music that I had not selected in
years.
How could this happen? How was the title selected and why was the volume
on full - plus why were they in at all?
Anyone else had this happen?
Mission accomplished, my music is now backed up in the cloud, more than
1 TB. Amazon really has good upload speed. Now I feel a bit safer. So
the worst bit is behind me, the initial upload. From now on my NAS will
automatically sync with the cloud. So all is good.

I started uploading at full speed since yesterday evening and 80 GB are
already in the cloud. Amazon works at my internets full upload, so much
better than other backup services I tried in the past, where it would
have taken months to upload.

I also have a Bifrost and it clicks when changing from standard to
hires. So having a playlist mixing them, would result in clicking.
But staying within the same sample rate playback from my touch via
bifrost is perfect and without gaps or clicks.

Well my Hifiberry Digi Board arrived and I installed it. Since it is
connected to the same DAC as I used on the Touch - the Bifrost - it
sounds the same, which is damn good. ;-)
Really great little Player.
All in all it is a 100 Euro including case. Which makes it a very
affordable High-end
The raspberry with hifiberry has 192 k playback out of the box and even
Airplay.
So in a way it is more advanced than the Touch in that respect.
Big trouble with hifiberry is that it ships from switzerland, which
makes it slow and expensive to ship just about anywhere, plus customs
charges.

I have a new problem - after years of tagging without probs for LMS.
My new TAGS created with MP3Tag have now only got TRACK instead to the
TAG TRACKNUMBER, which cause chaos in LMS.
The order is not there anymore.
What could be wrong? Are the correct FLAC tracks not created

being in different folders.
I have no idea which ones are too long, is there a tool to search and

There is no reason to toss the SBs out of your home yet.
Local playback will always work via a local server, if newer NAS are not
supported, simply run LMS on a MiniPC with something like squeezeplug.
The real problem is, online functionality. Will online services continue

It is really easy setting the receiver up, if you have the right
instructions.
