Well it looks like no one else here had this issue. I notified Amazon and a new one is on it's way overnight and UPS will be picking up the defective unit as well. Great service from Amazon, highly recommended. The silver lining is I get to experience the blissful joy of opening a Duet for a

[slim] Use analog and digital outputs at the same time?

2008-04-07 Thread Ausir
I'm moving to a house where I want to setup a slim device to listen to stored music and internet radio in the kitchen. I already own a SB3 and the livingroom where it is going to be placed is next to the kitchen. I was wondering if I could just get another amplifier and a set of speakers for the

You can use all four outputs at the same time (although the headphone out is significantly lower quality than the others). -- radish radish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=77 View this thread:

I had this happening when I upgraded to Squeezecenter which includes I-Tunes compatibility. It was reading all my FLAC files from my library but it was also getting duplicates from the I-tunes listing. I keep a seperate library of MP3s for my MP3 player and my wifes Nano she won. I didn't tell

I know I'm feeding the troll but I just want to say that the Squeezebox is open code. Yes, that makes it geekier and sometimes setup is not 'plug and pray' like MS but look at the community of developers that formed around it to make it to new and amazing things. In short, maybe it has more

I expect at some point--and I obviously don't have any inside info on this--that there will be a Logitech branded tiny, fanless computer that you plug an external USB drive into. All it will do is run Squeezecenter and it will find the files on the USB drive. If someone wanted to get
