Very interesting original post. I am getting unsatisfactory wireless

The big advantage with N networks is they can be at 5 GHz. No
interfering neighbours on G networks, and no microwave oven effects. It
would really help in many cases if squeezeboxes were upgraded.

dsly, before you shell out for a new router - have you tried the basic
troubleshooting steps set out in the wiki? Things like repositioning
the router (higher up better, away from other electronics) and changing

If you don't have an SB Radio and you don't connect directly to
mysqueezebox.com (formerly squeezenetwork.com) then you don't have to
upgrade to 7.4.x. You can keep running 7.3.x on the QNAP, and as long as

Hey guys
I have a question and request to all SlimControl users
Where do you have set up the cache directory
1. in internal memory
2. on an SD/MMC/... card
If it's option 1:
Can you confirm or disconfirm that the cache folder 'SlimCtrl' resides
in
in your root directory, i.e. '/SlimCtrl'.
Use mp3tag to really look at all the tags and also see if you have more
than one type of tag. There is a nice tutorial on it in Wiki I believe.

Couple of other things to check:
Are the files tagged with MusicBrainz Picard at all? There is a
specific issue in 7.4 if files have been tagged using an old version of
MusicBrainz Picard. The newer versions of Picard tag your files in a
slightly different way and this is what is now supported
