optical stereo output, which I've used.
My experience using either Windows or Mac OS is that it's much easier to
interface with an external USB soundcard than it is using the audio in/out
jacks on the PC.

Just a note that W1MX is the MIT amateur radio club station.
In the late 60s, hung out there with a close friend who was an MIT student

Worked KH6 from the Florida Panhandle on 17 and 15 meters running about 12
watts with my K2 and KAT100. The AX1 was mounted on a very short camera
tripod and was out on our 3rd floor balcony as short distance from the Gulf.

that was current at that time. But not with new PC! I
pulled the jumper out and it now works fine with N1MM logger on the new PC.
So, KPA100 serial cable builders ... keep an eye out for this one ... that
jumper may disable K2 to PC communications.

ohmmeter that there is good DC contact through each of the RFC 6-7-8-9
