Jim, for single band operation the sub-receiver works very well and does not
need additional filters. If you find a mult on the sub, just stop your CQ, tap
A/B, make your call, then tap A/B and go back to CQ. You don't need another K3

had was a Butternut vertical mounted on a tripod on the roof. It had four 32

notice it in contests when the heat is on, but not so much otherwise. I turn

Ken, I hear it weakly on my Carolina Windom that runs right over my computer.
I do not hear it on my SteppIR that is about 200 feet away and 67 feet up.
From that I would suspect that it originates in my computer or possibly router.

I have read on this forum that the startup as shutdown settings are not saved
unless you power down with the POWER button. The K3 reverts to previous
settings if shut down by powering down with the power supply.
I have not experimented with this, but could this be the problem?
