I need a way to mail ~20.000 recipients, problem being that the addresses
will be fetched from a DB2 database.
So, the addresses will most likely be in a text file, Im unsure of the
format, but that would most likely be flexible.
But anyways, the real question is, can Outlook/Exchange import

Watch all sorts of hell break out after doing it too...
Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt, and I'm still finding issues a YEAR
after migrating people with that option on.
Far better is to migrate the rules to a PST from the client side, then
reimport them following migration.
We have never had a single issue with using this option selected! Well I
suppose it will be one of those strange Exchange sort of things, what works
for one, does not work for another.
Hence, confirming what everybody knows, test it first, if it works use it,
if it fails try something else.
The error I see most often is blown links to delegates. The linkage is
stored internally as a DN (/o=Org/ou=Site/cn=Recipients/cn=DirName), and is
copied verbatim. Changes to the target are not automatically reflected in
these links, unless you carry over proxy addresses for those users. In our

by the M: drive, which is a folder named by the domain of the Exchange
server and then inside that each user has a folder, will grow bigger than

being used as a bounce. By default Exchange 5.5 is open to be exploited as a
