You will get lots of advice here. How old is your other cat? Odds are that if
your other cat didn't contract felv from kiwi from the time they were together
he won't ever contract it. There is always a small risk. But I have mixed at
least 13 negative cats with up to two positive cats over a
Robin, what a wonderful story. All of my cats came to me much the same way you
found Kiwiorphaned or abandoned...sometimes right after birth. Love him
all you can and enjoy his little antics...sometimes their time is very short!

I've been off this list since the server problem. I am so shocked and
saddened to
hear about Dixie. I know how much you loved her and can imagine how
difficult
it must be without her. She is so lucky to have felt safe and loved.
I am so sorry.

Kathryn, I am so sorry about Smokey. I know how much you wanted him to
make it. Don't reproach yourself too much (I know you have to a little,
20-20 hindsight is what we humans do best) for causing him pain trying
to take care of the mouth sores. You were doing what you could to be a

Hey Belinda,
This has been lost in cyberspace several times. I'm hoping it comes through
with the new server.
Bob's numbers:
creatnine 2.5
bun 16
phosphorus 4.5
potassium 4.1
HCT 37.9
Other numbers that were noted as high were:
urea nitrogen 40
cholesterol
I'm so sorry Kathryn.

Kathryn, you were doing your best to help Smokey not being stupid. All we can

Tonya -- re the cosequin, we've been giving it to our senior guy Luc for

Hi Tonya,
Sounds like Bob is having problems very similar to what we are now going

in the urine off and on. X-ray was clear, urinalysis had no crystals, good
ph, no blockage. Dx was "interstitial cystitis". He did 2 week
