My kitten was diagnosed at around 8 weeks. He had a few minor health issues at
the time and I had him treated several times with antibiotics. Since then he
has had no obvious health issues. He is now a year old. I have never used any
kind of supplements. My treatment has been lots of love,
You are in a situation almost like me. I have a one year old positive cat who

cats since and it has been a crazy situation as I have a small house. I have

learned to tell them apart by the markings on their masks. They are
extremely intelligent, as well as being elegant beautiful birds. We

I love Canada geese, they care for their babies together, with other family
members babysitting, etc. - not like ducks...poor mom duck has up to 12
babies, and no mate in sight. Almost all usually are lost.

I am so sorry to hear that.
Unfortunately, my expertise is with FIV, and the two cats that we had who
tested positive of FeLV on the combo tests, after being retested with the
IFA, were both negative!
How old is Jean-Luc now? Maybe it's too early to test, I now that with FIV,

Hi Anna!
Glad to have you aboard. I would make sure your older cat is vaccinated
against FeLV before having them together. Even though the vaccine is 80%
effective, it's better than no protection at all. The vaccine has to be given
in two doses, 3 weeks apart (so don't expose your older cat
Hi Anna! I am so sorry about your situation. I have an 11 week old FELV+ kitten
and we need to relocate it bc I have 2 cats at home. Its heart breaking. He
seems so healthy and happy and is growing too. Its so hard, but they can live
decent lives for a few good years

Yes, I need to find a home for my cat also who is one year old and has the FELV
and I can't keep her with the other 2. I can't seem to find a home for her.
She is a viable cat, cute and spunky and pretty, doing wonderfully right now,
other than that she has the FELV. People don't understand
Dot have you tried Best Little Cat house,
http://www.thebestlittlecathouseinpa.com/
They take in FELV and FIV + cats and the cats live out their lives there.

Did you mean FIV?
Although the FIP, does as well - because it's a corona virus, much the same
as a common cold.

Sorry, Anna - I asked how old the kitten was, and I see that it's on the
subject line.My vet believes that at that young age, test results are not
definitive, and often come out positive, false or not.it's a toss-up!

I am not sure if I tried that one. (best little cat house). It may be that I
did. I'll check tomorrow. There was one that I tried and they said they were
full up and to try back in Nov or Dec. That may have been the Best Little Cat
House. Not sure. I'll check. Thanks. Dot
