Sounds like the settings for one of the brackets (I'm guessing the piano brace) is messed up in document options. You could try loading a document options library in a *copy* of the file (this will blow away any customizations you've made to doc opts...) and see if it clears it up... -Original

Errr... You can´t. What you can do is find a Soundfont file that you like it and use it instead of the default that comes with Finale. Now if you want Finale to play your synth with a particular sound of, say, saxophone, you have to look in the manual to figure out the patch number of the sound.
