shutdown then (but not halt etc).
You could also create a shutdown user with a login shell pointing to a

Hi all. Ok, just port upgraded last night and got a nasty
surprise today. When trying to load any torrent file using the bit
torrent gui script (/usr/local/bin/btdownloadgui.py) I get the following

I had the same problem. An arrogant person at the freebsd forum said I had a
lack of resolving, but I didn't know what he was talking about. Someone said to
edit /etc/rc.conf but that didn't help because it was a read only file.

't zpool status -v to see *what* is corrupted because I can't import.
So here I am, stuck, unable to import. Any suggestions as to how I can recover
from this situation?
Any way to tell what is corrupted so I can maybe intentionally fail that disk

I booted my HP Pavilion zd8215us and I immediately invoked chkCPUTemperature.
The first temp reported was 52C, which is 125.6F. This leads me to believe
that acpi has an anomaly regarding temperature measurement. The ambient temp
was 71F (21.6C). The machine had been off for over eight hours.

Why is hal failing to build on my machine? I checked pointyhat and it says it

I configured all the devices mentioned in the rum man page and rebuilt
the kernel, and rebooted.
I believe it should show up when I invoke ifconfig without args. My
other ethernet drivers do.

I know I wasn't clear in my original mail, but after this AutoSense failed, I
get LOTS of g_vfs_done errors. I don't get them if I don't plu in the camera

I have enable_webcamd="YES" in rc.conf
If I comment it out, it complains, and in, it complains.
None of these are going into any log file. They do not get reported by a
subsequent invocation of dmesg.

I figured out the dataengine part. But this thing doesn't have any
configuration/settings. How will it know to look for wlan0?

It used to display in the window and I could switch back and forth from Full
screen mode to window.

It was just a typo. I had been using this for awhile, and recent changes made
it act weird. It didn't act weird under 8.1.

I like kaffeine's playlist, but how do the Artist, Album, and track fields get
populated or edited?
