ctop icons and it works good. But, when I try
to edit some icon with the gimp, kde stops to read it :( (but many other
viewers and gimp itself work with it good).
My question was: does kde has some additional restriction on xpm format,
sorta... ?

One another advice:
-My home partitiion was completely filled (115 MB of GIMP swap)
-GIMP used more than 60MB of RAM
If you have trouble with size of swap -- reduce the number of undo levels (default is
5 -- means up to 5 copies of
your image in the swap in worst case)

Try put 'keycode 0x42 = Mode_switch' into your .xmodmap file, then run
'xmodmap .xmodmap'. Now when you press Caps Lock simultaneously with another
key, you get a special char. This diasbles Caps Loack, by the way. To use a
different key, use 'xev' to find a keycode.

Is it just me, or does gimp-1.1.13 break some parts of script-fu? Things
like the excellent wax-text and wax-seal scripts don't work any more, with
errors like:
