Since I didn't mention it in my original email: our servers (one Arena, one
Payload / CP and one KotH) are running under Windows Server 2008 R2. I
usually have to restart our servers at least every day, if they don't crash
themselves. There's some really dodgy memory management going on.
I'm seeing intermittent server hangs on our Windows Server 2008 R2 servers.
No crash, no crash dump, the server just hangs and needs a manual restart.

We have that issue too, but I have a server management app that periodically

Yeah...this is going to be a tough one to track down. I've been on a server

other than it seemed to happen most often right after a map change while
players were choosing their teams. But again, there was no crash dump, and
I had the same issue but with a few CSS servers. I fixed it by adding

The new steamworks SDK was compiler with a newer compiler, which requires a
newer version of the stand C lib than many distributions come with. We
included this lib in the update, but apparently that isn't working for
everybody. This new dependency was the cause of the delay last week.
Thanks to the new Beta trading service, transaction levels on the TF2

We'll investigate the CS:S Windows issue. In the meantime, can you confirm
that you don't have an old steam client on that Windows machine? If you've run
the steam client one, but not run recently, it might be using the old
steam.dll, instead of the new one released in the latest update.
Hi,
I have an active steam client running on that machine, would you like
me to check for updates?
