I searched the iText mailinglist fort his problem.
I found several, but none of the provided solutions work for me.
I am making a program for a friend of mine wich must extract images from a
pdf.
All the images are upside down, they are NOT rotated!!

The problem was that the Document object no-arg constructor returns a pdf
with A4 dimensions. So the page content wasn't shifted down, it was
truncated. We fixed everything by passing a rectangle sized 8.5 x 11 to
Document. I.e. new Document(New Rectangle(...

Most devs has no
been able to read through the PDF and extract images but the images are
too wide for a page and so span 3 pages.
While iterating over the pages I get the same image 3 times.
I do not see how to read through the table of contents
Note that I have new to iText.

them at creation time

open the document - a USER password - and under that is an option to set
permissions for printing etc - an OWNER passw

Write the first 3 pages to PDF 1
Write the next 1 to PDF 2
Write the rest to PDF 3
Concatenate.
Or write 1..3,5..N to PDF 1
Write 4 to PDF 2
Do a special concatenate which reads 1..3, adds 4, adds the rest.

Another issue is that there are MANY ways of getting a piece of A4 too. We come
across InDesign, Word, and printer pages that all vary slightly so when adding
stationery as a template do a bit of maths that says if either dimension is
with 3 for a4 and 2 for a5 then assume it is actually the sam
, would I have to somehow flatten
the annotations onto the document before merger? Any help would be appreciated.

The dictionary values are correct, there is no XMP, not got there yet.
Attached doc5.pdf which shows A,B,C,D in the info dialog and different
values in the Dictionary
