Note that for many symbols/characters, I need to put them in the JAWS

If you hold down the alt key and type in the ASCII code for the characters you

Press the Jaws/insert key and the number 4 on the number row and you will

Hello,
After installing JAWS Version 2018 (build 1710.33 ILM) BETA, I just updated
to Windows 10 Home Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.19).
After doing the Windows update, I went into Outlook 2016 and checked for

I personally always found it easier and faster just to remember the alt-key
combinations. This may be difficult though, depending on how many accents
you need to use. I mostly use french ones, which are most acute and grave
accents between 130 and 140 or so. So, to type an acute lower case e, for

If you press insert+the number four on your number row, you'll be presented
with a list of special characters that can be inserted into the text, such
as accent letters, copyright symbols, and stuff like that.

Yes. I do not have either the Creator's Fall update or JAWS 2018 (only JAWS

Vicki,
JAWS makes a number of accented letters available in a list that you access by
pressing JAWS key+4 on the number row above the letters. You arrow down the
list or navigate by first letter, then press enter on the one you want. Not all
symbols are in the list, so it has limited use.
Yes, and I have checked all the settings several times. No answer here!
