As soon as you enter Unknown you deprive yourself of the different ways
Legacy has of searching for or displaying in Reports that information is
unknown. See the option in Book reorts to add underlines for missing
information and the multiple searches on the Search-missing information tab.
I abhor blanks as well so I always use "Unknown" when a person or date is
unknown. Since my reports are usually sent to relatives and/or other
genealogists, I advisee them to please contact me regarding any of my
unknowns for which they may have better information. Also it's nice to be

The Option that controls this is Options - Customise 8.7
You can change the wording there to get rid of the "someone" - I do. There is
no Apply button or Refresh on the marriage screen so I'm not positive that it
updates automatically or whether

Was the report you created saved to pdf format?
If so, the Win 10 version of Internet Explorer is called 'Edge',
symbolized by and "E" and has an imbedded pdf reader.
And if you do not have another pdf reader installed, it becomes the
default, thus printing your pdf
I created an Ancestor Book Report. I have Windows 10. When I went to
print it, it brought up the "E" for Internet Explorer and took forever to
print, double sided. The report was 167 pages. There was about a 30
second pause between printing 1 page double sided.
My question is why did it bring

I'm tying to put together an Ancestor book report through the publishing
centre in Legacy 7.5 to give to my parents, aunts uncles. As such I
