all \text{...} in math code are displayed in Arabic. I think my configs
are alright.

with a lot of line breaks. I suspect to make the view in the source

error. Prompted error is, e.g., Use of \...@part doesn't match its
definition. Interestingly, changes of headings in track mode are not
liked either.

the beamer templates, e.g. beamer-conference-ornate-20min.lyx - shipped
with LyX gives a compilation error. If I recall correctly the problem
existed with LyX 1.6.7., too. I am running LyX on a WinVista machine.

not refresh. I need to close the pdf window and hit the dvi button
again. How can this be amended? Is this because I have some weird

Changing the preferences shrinks the LyX window after hitting the
OK button in the preference dialogue. I change the settings every
now and then, but it is kind of annoying to scale the LyX window up
every time.

the fonts in the dvi- or pdf-output come across ragged and scraggy.
How can this be amended to have a really high-quality output - in
terms of fonts, of course? ;)
Using LyX 1.6.3. on WinVista/MikTeX. Below the preamble of my LyX
document after export to LaTeX.
