Adding standard enviroment text in a list

I have a long list of criteria (and sub-criteria) that I have in an enumerate environment so all criteria align properly. Each criterion needs a statement of compliance which would be in the standard environment. When I tried to do this the enumerated list below was renumbered starting with '1'.
