When using lyx 1.04 and earlier versions, I am getting a strange problem

I'm running out of disk space on the system disk (on an SGI O2) so I
want to move /usr/freeware on the system disk to /disk02/usr/freeware
(on a different hard drive). (For example, teTeX is in /usr/freeware at

renamed /usr/
I had to go back to 1.0.1. The 1.1.4fix1 patch did not resolve all the
problems with 1.1.4. I had a 28 page document that was formatted
correctly under 1.0.1. In 1.1.4, it looked fine in LyX but would not
create a correct Postscript file. Ghostview showed that the fonts and
margins were badly scre
In my opinion, there are serious bugs in 1.1.4 with or without the
fix. So serious that 1.1.4 is unuseable. Documents that printed
perfectly in 1.0.1 look OK in 1.1.4 but they do not print correctly. The
fonts are completely screwed up in the last so many pages. I had to
uninstall 1.1.4fix and re-
nor print correctly. Unistalling 1.1.4fix and re-installing 1.01
removed all the problems.

If I understand this, you want to show the result of an integration being evaluated
from a to b. You can use the brackets and braces panel from the math panel to select
a vertical line (on the left) and a blank space (on the right). (Actually, I'm used

Everytime I do the import LyX crashes (running RH 6.1 I386 on a pc).

I'm using 1.1.6 fix 1-1 for Linux. If I open an old document with 1in margins,
it displays correctly in Ghostview. If I create a new document and specify 1in
margins in Layout -> Document -> Paper, it does NOT display with 1in margins.

create a proper Postscript version with graphs of my document and will
print OK but does not display the eps images in LyX itself. Every figure
