Thought some may enjoy this tip. When you are reading messages in Apple Mail, you can switch between available alternative formats, like HTML and plain text or a hybrid of both, by pressing CMD+OPT+left or right brackets while inside the message. I find this especially useful with complex HTML

Hello Richard, One thing that hasn't yet been suggested is initialising the PRAM. To do this, shut down your machine, then hold down the Command, Option, letter P and letter R keys and press the Power key. Keep holding down the four keys until you've heard the start up chime at least 3 times.
