Hello all.
I created a new recording in amadeus pro, after following the instructions in
Jonathan Mosen's tutorial which I just recently purchased. Here is my issue.
I record, set markers, press return, hit space, I hear the following, volumes,
popup button, and there's volume, none, and
Hi Donna, Sound Forge has a few more effects, which you're unlikely to need for
spoken word production and in may cases can be compensated for by installing
system-wide audio units. Amadeus Pro is a lot cheaper as well.

Hi,
Thanks so much. That did it. Will I need to do this all of the time?

Hi Matthew, you may need to do it a bit, sounds like you may have interacted in
some way with the scroll area that controls the various tracks, which is
covered a little later in the tutorial.

Whilst the Yosemite update is generally positive I have noticed some issues

Essentially VLC remains usable with hotkeys but Voiceover on my setup is unable

Hi all,
I've noticed something odd. Emails I send to lists are sometimes delayed by a

VLC seems to be fine here. I can navigate it no problem.

Hi there
I did go into the voiceover utility and make the changes that Tim suggested.
However, I will keep in mind the shortcuts to, because in some situations might

Hello,
I recently changed the setup that I use for my MacBook Air. I have the

monitor. However, I'm having a few problems.

Hi Bill, m sets a marker at the insertion point, p sets it at the play head. So
it may be that you're not routing the insertion point to the play head before
setting your marker with m. For most tasks, p is way easier, it involves fewer
keystrokes.

I think what he's talking about are the different visual panels VoiceOver

Hi Jonathan and Alex,
thanks for the guidance. I confess that I'm leaning toward amadeus Pro at this

to record VO, my podcasts would not be Mac podcasts, so that's not an issue.
So basically, I'd have a voice
