Use arrow keys without VO keys. So, arrow down to the line with the link, then
arrow right or option-right to go by word. Once on the link, press
option-return to activate the link.

In my opinion it needs to be fixed because there are some accessibility flaws
that can be quite frustrating.
But if you want to edit a google document you have to open the documents app on
your iphone and press the edit button.

Yes, Google Chrome and ChromeVox is specifically designed for the Google
ecosystem, so is able to navigate Google Docs and other Google apps better.
There is a learning curve though for ChromeVox as it is not the same as VO, nor

I i'm often in scenarios where I have to collaborate with others on documents.
Until recently, I did this the old way(sending attachments to emails). I've
tried using Google Docs with voice-over and Safari and chrome
I feel, using Google Docs with chromeVox the best option. Since not many
documents in Pages with tables, table of contents, headings and the like
before with few issues. Track changes works better for VO users as a modal
dialog pops up with the suggested change which you can accept or ignore.

I wouldn't say that the experience is particularly pleasant but I am able to
use it successfully with both Chrome and Safari. My School district uses
Google Apps for Education, thus I've kind of been forced to make things work
for me. I find it easiest to create my documents

I know Google docs have been discussed on this list and I could have
sworn I saw a bunch of mentions on Google Plus, but I couldn't find
what I was looking for in the macvisionaries groups directory, so
pardon me for posting this.
I have to use Google docs and plus for a new work
From past discussions it seems like the best (only) way to use Google
Docs well is to kick VO to the curb and use ChromeVox with the Chrome
browser. It's the Google way and you have to buy into their entire
ecosystem for it to work.
