Center link on this car is fixed, thank goodness. The tie rod was set with a narrow metal tape measure and wrapped it around the whole assembly, kind a like measure circumference and set the new one to the same measurement as the old one. It seemed to work great as the steering wheel is the same

If you replace a tie rod end and don't get the length right, the car won't necessarily pull, but the toe-in will be incorrect and the steering wheel will be off center. If you get the center link wrong, the steering wheel will be off center. If your steering wheel is centered, you're probably OK
