nest to compensate for rising water. Avocets still present at 4:00 p.m.

Swifts and Purple Martins are active in town (Canby and Gary) each
evening.
On the South Dakota side, 2 Nature Conservancy sites (7 Mile Fen, and Crystal
Springs Fen)
are reliable spots to find Upland Sandpipers. Found 4 Snowy Egrets up at Waubay
NWR.

close to him, and the tanager went after the catbird. Must be a ticked-off

She was incubating 3 Turkey eggs and, oddly, 1 Pheasant egg.

We just found a Say's Phoebe in Mound Springs SNA. The
bird was located all the way to the sound end of the
minimum maintenance road at the southern boundary of
the SNA.

Blackpoll, Chestnut-sided, Tennessee, Northern Parula, and Nashville Warblers.

Red Crossbills. I heard than saw 5 Crossbills fly from one tree to another.

Richard Anderson Conservatory on Flying Cloud Dr. along the Minn. River,
west of Dell Road, Sunday evening. It was in some buckthorn at the north
end of the parking area at the first split in the trails.
