Everything’s working great accept the automatic client upgrade seems to have

I have a friend who is currently working on a java uninstall its uses a wmic
query to call the uninstall command from wmi. If you think it might be useful I
can post it. From memory it uses a wildcard so you don't have to go trying to
find msi codes etc. It works it out for you.

a custom RamDiskTFTBlockSize value of 8192 or higher? It gets stuck downloading

There are some Micorosft based utilities out there for automating domain joins
via a script.
Netdom comes to mind, this was years ago though so check if it's still going to
be relevant / do what you want it to do.
In theory if you SCCM clients are still talking to the MP you could execute
