Just run the setup program, it will do the updating of the database. Choose to keep your tuner and channel settings, and exit as soon as it gets to the menu. Then fire up myth. It's working great here. Scheduled some recordings real quick so I can make sure it doesn't crash - like 0.16

Indeed, there is more. The sad part: the offender might not even be aware of it: people familiar with the thing know that the notice is not saved and only the recipient sees it. As far as I know, only people posting to the list receives theses notices being sent to them only, not to the list.

I had the same problem while upgrading to exactly this version of the schema... Luckily I had made a backup of my DB just prior to restarting my stuff so I dropped the DB and restored. Started the backend, then frontend and the schema update went fine. Go figure. :) I hope you have a DB dump

I'm just finishing up my own build of MythTV using Fedora Core 3. I've got a micro-ATX case and motherboard with 2.4GHZ P4, 512MB RAM 200GB hard drive and (3) tuner cards (1 Hauppagge PVR 350 and 2 PVR 250's) I'm using the PVR 350 for TV out, and the entire X console run's on there just fine.
