anywhere.
I seem to remember that on this list someone took care of the gamma problem
in H264 files by using Python code to remove an atom. Maybe something
similar can be done for pixel aspect ratio?

The HSVTool still does odd things. If you rotate the hue you still get odd
twists at the outer edge.
Howard's way is the only way, really.
Back in Shake days I turned this method into a Macro. Simple to do for Nuke
as well.

In Fusion this functionality replaces the proxy system. So that whatever
res you input, you remain with the same comp.
In Nuke you need to actually setup and use the proxy system, but it is
something you need to do in advance.

Bad idea to have a node like this in Nuke.
Creates bad habits.
The whole point of node based compositing is the ease of access. When you
have things happening inside of a node it is very difficult to make
variations. You can't insert a node in the middle. Breaks the magic.
