Could someone - Azawawi ? - please release a new version or set the prereq back.

I am happy that this issue is now resolved but there is some very
serious issue in Padre or more likely in WxPerl that breaks the
installation of Wx on certain actions.

Hi,
In our wiki there are two pages that have not been touched for a long time.
One listing the features of Padre http://padre.perlide.org/trac/wiki/Features
the other one is a Competitor analysis:

It would be nice if we could update those
One of the issues I regulary see in my classes that when people write
their first perl script in Padre and save it, they don't give an
extension to it. In turn Padre does not recognize the file as a Perl
script. If they open the file again Padre recognizes the mime-type as

Hi,
In the Window menu on the right first we have a bunch of "go to" items
and then the list of open files.
When you have a lot of files open, especially on my 10" screen, this
means I need to scroll down
and even worse, sometime it opens at the bottom of the list and then I
don't see the "go to"
FYI Renee has filed RT tickets with the following plugins:
Padre-Plugin-Alarm
Padre-Plugin-Encrypt
Padre-Plugin-XML
It would be nice if we could check all the plugins and make sure they
work with the latest released version of Padre.

I think I'd also like to be able to browse several projects at the same time:
there are cases when you are editing files in several related projects
at the same time.
Alternatively I'd like to be able to see the names of all previously
opened projects

I am very much in favor of having a release every two week.
Unless there is some major breakages we should do that.
The release process should be smooth so it should not take a lot of effort.
If there are time consuming issues, please let us know and let's try
to fix them.

I turned on the smoke tester machine but I had to change the script so
if will not run the release tests
as it seems those tests now require human interaction.
That's not good.
Could someone, please, confirm this and try to fix those?
