Hi, To make GS the default, you need to go into one of the menus in GS. It's the options box, and there's a tab called File types or Associations. Check all the boxes in there. Sorry I can't be more specific, I ditched my pac mate in May, but It's in the tool menu I believe. HTH Brandon

Hi all, I've got ahold of the two disc version of Stealth. I've got a problem, though. I can't figure out where exactly the movie is. I've tried playing both discs in windows media, and a lot of the titles won't even play. I see a bunch of titles, barely any chapters on both discs. From what

MP3 player questions

Hi all, I've got a sort of problem: I'm looking for an MP3 player that has at least 1GB hopefully more of memory. I'd really like the following features in order of importance. 1. Removable disk, or easy-to-use software that doesn't do encryption. USB charging. 2. FM radio. Over 16 hours of

Hi, Well, if you do everything in MP3, or OGG, depending on the size there are a few options. A good site is http://anythingbutIpod.com They review a lot of MP3 players, not all of them by a long shot mind, but they've got a lot of info on there, and there are forums so you can see what kinds

2006-10-06 Thread Brandon Hicks
Hi all, I don't know if this message got through earlier, so I'll ask it again. Does anyone have any advice for getting about 192 or 160 KBPS quality out of MP3 files with a minimum file size? My hard drive isn't the biggest, so I want to save as much space as I can, while keeping my files

Hi, There are a few out there. I'd suggest checking out http://rarewares.org and see what they have there under the OGG section. I believe I saw a few. I use CDEx and the encoder they have there, they have two. One is the standard lib vorbis, and the other one is like ou2 or something. I can't

Hi, A data CD is what's required for an MP3 CD. Your CD burning software may have a customized wizard or something for an mP3 CD, but they are the same thing. If the MP3 files are already compressed, leave them as they are to avoid transcoding errors. If not, you can encode either, depending
