I second the motion. I had an Electrola XVII myself, and it was a beautiful
machine, with the record light, etc, but to be honest, I missed the pure joy of
winding the spring myself, which I think is central to enjoyment of phonograph
collecting. I sold it in favor of an English Oak XIV (or was

Anyone know where I could get a Radiola 20 for a Victrola 7-3? It is a beauty
of a cabinet, plating is great, but the radiola guts are missing.

When I had my first BG, I bought three mint 20th Century cylinders and paid
$250 each for mint ones and $200 for a semi mint one! I sold them with the
machine, and then bought one of them back recently for around $150.00 as I
recall. Those suckers are expensive!!
