RealAudio URL for UK only listeners. See post below. The post provide a
RealAudio 5LIve UK-only URL that works and could be put in to your
favorites or edit the AlienBBC entry.
I tried once again and installed the latest SC 7.3 and the latest
SvrPowerControl, and hooray ! it now works :-)
Thanks for this great utilty, now I only need the developers to figure
out how to get the Boom to send WakeOnLan messages over the internet so
the Boom I have in my girlfriends place

This has been happening for quite a while now for me.
Everytime there is a firmware update the applets installed via the
Advanced Applet Install option will 'disappear'.
So after every update, I go into the option and reinstall them.
I though that's what everyone else did ??

Since you are in the UK - why not try the BBCiPlayer Plugin - it will
give better quality for Listen Again in MP3 so no load on the server.
Also I believe the WMA streams may be a higher quality (although that
may simply deduced from listeners URL) as well.

I've now re-installed SC 7.3 and installed AlienBBC via the
Settings/Advanced/Extension Downloader.
However now if I go to AlienBBC and try and select a station I get
'Error no items found in playlist' but I have set AlienBBC URL's in
favorites which does
The BBC havbe changed their website and so the web derived Listen
Again menus from AlienBBC are broken. Work is ongoing to fix this.
The AlienBBC Alternative Listen Again menu uses the XML interface and
this still works.
The BBCiPlayer plugin only uses the XML interfaces and so will still
work

I would think configuration/installation problem more likely. The only
menu that AlienBBC and BBCiPlayer share

Squeezecenter ver. 7.0
No player connected.
I've tried to add the server manually without luck.
I have a NAS server and can connect to the Squeezecenter from the
Safari browser from the IPhone.

I can confirm that it no longer works after a rescan and requires a

If you are using port 9000, try to enter just the ip or URL:

I should have mentioned as well - on the Boom the date on Line 1 runs
right up to the 'alarm' symbol which is right-aligned on Line 1. Also
the * to indicate data refresh seems to overwrite the alarm symbol.

Well I've tried with no succsess to get past the 'error cannot find
item in playlist'. I've uninstalled AllienBBC then re-started SC then
uninstalled SC and re-started.
Finally installed the latest SC version and restarted then installed
AlienBBC and re-started and added the iPlayer
It's a Synology 207+, and I get to the squeezecenter on my pc and on the
safari browser on the IPhone with URL Http://192.168.1.103:9000
Maybe IPeng don't work when squeezecenter is installed on the a NAS ??

No. I've got at least one beta tester who's happily using
I use my IPENG on a ReadyNAS Duo running SC 7.2.1 and it works
perfectly. So in general, use with a NAS is not an issue. I wouldn't
expect it to be. the NAS is just a computer without a keyboard or
screen. As long as SC is running I don't know why IPeng would care what
it was running on

I found out that my version of SSODS uses the same port (9090) as the
CLI.
The latest version of SSODS uses port 9099.
So I will try to upgrade SSODS to get the problem solved.
