I have been wrestling with this all day, it seems I am unable to extent
file system, this seems to crop up on/off on the max2play forums, but
nothing works.
I have a clean SD card, burn the img and then boot up.
I then try and expand filesystem.

I completed the choice in the Raspberry Settings, rebooted and went to

I saw a notice on the main screen that there was a Max2Play update, so I
got it. A series of plug in updates.
Now my install shows Not Activated with the email address I registered
it with in January.
Issues on the authentication end?
I rebooted & checked again. No love.

OK, inserted a fresh install from the beta download at max2play
(m2p_Jessie_wps_228.img), using the update button worked this time, LMS
is now scanning a USB HDD.

Same here, Pi3/beta/Digi+, awful loud hiss. I selected the second up
from bottom, and this worked
Just installed the beta image for RasPi3. Can't get the digi+ from
Hifiberry to work. It's just buzzing. It worked until now on a RasPi 2.

I've been trying to get Max2Play setup to run as a Squeezebox player but
having trouble with the wifi. I have an original Pi B, Edimax USB wifi
adapter, latest version of M2P. I can access through LAN but when I
enter my wifi info and save, I get a message that the adapter is
active but no IP.

good to hear it's working again! The "usb" folder is just a symlink to
"usb0" within media-folder.

If you are junking the router I can tell you that the Draytek range will
do an ipsec site to site VPN where all traffic can be tunnelled down the
VPN. I do this for a mate in France who connects to his UK office and

I am not clear what you are trying to achieve. Please clarify a little.
I use a VPN client on my PC & iPhone that I use to connect to the VPN
server on my router. I then use either Squeezeplay (PC) or iPeng player
(iPhone) to stream my music. This works fine.
If however I attempted a Remote
No port forwarding should be necessary.
Do some tests as follows
Bring up the VPN
On a PC that "works" do a tracert to check that traffic is going down
the tunnel. Compare the route to the same tracert without the VPN up.
Assuming that the PCs are using the tunnel what DNS servers are they

Hey all - can the Max2play and it's little dongle handle WPA2-PSK [AES]
security? I can't see my network on the available list, and I REALLY
don't want to have to change my network around to handle this one

1. Formatted my sd-card with SDformatter in overwrite format
2. Installed 2.22 version from m2p on the card

I have max2play running for squeezebox en kodi. Did work great for more
than a month.
By now it gives me an error (see picture) and I can't go further.

The wireless IP will be different to the Ethernet.

Put the card into a suitable reader/writer.
For Windows:
