That's because System 7.1 needs an enabler to run on a 180. I know because I helped my friend reinstall 7.1 on his 180. Enablers go in the System Folder. The only thing you can do is make a special boot disk that has the enabler on it. You can download the enabler you need from Apple's Older Sof
