No changes have been announced that I've heard of. Might just be one of
those things which didn't get linked up with the new system. I do recall
mention being made when the site changeover was announced that the accrued
rebate would not show up, but would be applied manually.
The best option
I hate to get all grumbly on a Friday evening, but economics and

By "sidestep" the description issue, it's really that I would hate to see

chromed parts, you have to watch that you don't remove the chrome layer.

My initial reaction was "I'd be a little wary", but as I think about it, I'm
not sure why. There's no intrinsic reason I can come up with. The FD might
help to keep the chain on, and I do know folks who still have one in place
with a single ring setup to use as a chain keeper.

I've been running standard Shimano with Shimano road levers. The yoke sits
maybe an inch above the Nitto Mini front rack post. Braking is good.
I would think that running Paul MTB levers (for canti's - NOT for LP style
brakes) would be an even easier setup. Those things hav

found Angus' Atlantis with a date stamp from quite a while ago (Gernot's

IME, the tensioner really has more to do with
list members and ogle the hardware.

ast your rack uses the same bolt on both port and
starboard.
- If the eyelet lacks the meat to retap (and that's really doubtful, unless
it failed somehow), then you would have to get a new one installed, or go to
a p-clamp mount.
