panel. The manual says the crystal should be 3rd overtone crystal in the
50-85Mhz range. This receiver came in 30-50, 66-88, 136-151, 151.001-174,
and 406-512MHZ versions.

There may be a gas discharge replacement for the unit that you have, but they
might be difficult to find. I tossed the ones I had years ago. Your best bet
is to change out the entire mounting to a newer design, scraping the carbons
