Dan does SPDPointsViewer allow you to specify the spd file to open from the

I have had a couple of reports of this issue but I haven’t been able to

Hi Roberto,
The solution Dan has suggest would be one way to do it but the best solution
and something I will add to my list of things to do would be for the spdmetrics

for the calculated metrics to be added added to

Hope that helps and makes sense.

Dear Eloi,
Are you installing libraries from a repository? liblas does not require xerces
but GDAL could be built with xerces if you take the version of the Ubuntu
repository then I think that is built with xerces 2.8 so you would need to
build gdal with xerces 3.1.1 to be compatible with SPDL
Hi,
You should also check the version of liblas you are using. It needs to be at
least 1.6 (latest is 1.7) as the namespace was changed between 1.2 and 1.6.

Hi Roberto,
With the merging there is a switch --ignorechecks which I use when I know files
are 'the same'. These checks try to make sure that everything in the headers of

which is why I added the ignore switch.
