I have done this a few times. After the dry system piping had rusted out
this was suggested to the owner to reduce the maintenance problems with dry
sprinklers in attics. I have only know of one problem ie: when PG was

that is NFPA 1. NFPA 1 is not adopted in many areas. A simple copy

(2003) Chapter seven Fire-Resistance-Rated Construction. Fire resistant rated
construction must be maintained. Also with out ceiling tiles the heat would
