Just going on memory here, but if it's the IBC and the open perimeter of
the basement is less than 50% of the total perimeter of the building,
then it isn't considered a story. (As long as there is no fire truck

test headers fabed to the wall plate dimensions. Lead time is a day or so and

I always thought the listing deduction to standard response with EC's was
due to the increased spacing, (Further distance for the ceiling jet to
travel). Also limiting you to the maximum remote area size by not allowing
the QR reduction.
After all, it's still a fast response element.

Agreed. As builts would be nice, but never present. It's really a crap
shoot, and the contractor would need to decide if he/she was capable of
completing it correctly. I won't touch a storage occupancy for something
like this, and less likely to on a building that has multiple uses, flex
space
Does anyone on the forum have in their library a cut sheet F430 Thermal
Control Valve made by Grinnell? We found a few in an old mill building
protecting fire wall openings with spray nozzles.
Just curious if anyone had a cut sheet.

If I remember correctly, you can convert your outlet (Flow and pressure) to
a K factor K=Q/√P then just solve for P with your flow number (Q/K)₂.
