I also was wondering if Aaron Smith was still around.
A few weeks ago i sent Aaron a message regarding a long standing bug in WE but

I personally don't like the NVDA version of Eloquence. I could never get it
to save the settings I chose.

Of course, one consequence of all this uncertainty, is the app
development. Many app developers may feel reluctant to update and
maintain their apps, if tomorrow the whole app will be no longer useful,
due to the screen reader being discontinued. New apps may not be

It may also help to explain (rationally) why you think Jaws is an
inferior product (without saying you think it is inferior). Mention

And then getting an Email telling me
To the extend of my understanding, NVDA will never have a charge. Think it is

Hi Sky: They are a Financial Company, not a technical company so are likely
trying to build something they can offload to another party.
There are 2 approaches:
One is to combine WindowEyes into JAWS or just get rid of WindowEyes and
market jaws as the only really professional screen reader

I found very little about either podcast to give me even the smallest twinge

I am keen to support Sky in raising this topic again. Whilst our critics might
say that we are simply speculating, generating new hysteria after an initial
high level of noise, I believe that VFO leadership should clearly tell us what
the group's intentions are with respect to Window-eyes.
Why
Interesting that Window Eyes is replaced with JAWS in both programs.
Do you think they are looking at the Features in JAWS vs. the features
in Window Eyes, and figuring it is easier to add the JAWS Screen Reader,
than it is to Upgrade Window Eyes to have the same features as JAWS?
