Something weird is happening tonight with my PCP player. I bought a just boom IR remote and a Flirc USB IR receiver. And since I plugged the IR receiver into the player I have a display issue even with the usb receiver removed. Basically, the player starts as normal, shows the Picoreplayer logo

Network discovery is absolutely crazy in Win 10. Sometimes it doesn't show anything, then days later everything shows no problem! Try this, right-click the windows logo bottom left of PC screen, select "Run", type in "\\192.168.1.178" (without quotes, and replace with IP address of your Pi).

In a setup with a 7'touchscreen, Is there a way in PCP to have the screen switching off completely after a certain time of inactivity? At the moment, the only option I found is to have the screen going black when no song is played however I can still see the backlight of it.

Shairport will change the Digital volume of the card. If you do this often, you should look at setting the ALSA volume control (-V option) on the squeezelite page. Put "Digital" (Without the quotes) in that field, then squeezelite will adjust the volume with the Hardware vs Software control.

Hi Paul I've been recommended to use it with my DAC. As"apparently" the RPI USB port is not the best in direct for audio. Same for my DAC (Chord Qute Ex) it seems that the Coax has better audio quality. At the moment, it does work but the sound quality is not as good as my Squeezebox Touch. :(

Got my Picoreplayer back up and running now that sourceforge is back up. Made sure both Simple mixer controls were checked, didn't have the .80 checked before. For now left DSP filter at FIR setting, I'll see what the others do tomorrow. Also got alsa mixer installed, but haven't changed anything

Setting the password can be a little confusing. 1) Install Samba 2) Set server name, workgroup and shared name/directory 3) Make sure server is running 4) Set password. When you connect to the share, you will need to specify the username as "tc" with the password you just set.
