One person solved it by opening the file with Wordpad, which is found in:
Start-- All Programs-- Acessories-- WordPad.
Also try it with NotePad, which should be in the same directory.

Now I have to figure out how to get wordpad (a.k.a rtf in vista) back in my
menu when I want to open new files. Haven't done much resesarch on that one
yet. Any suggestions??
