I just now tried the latest release of the extension (ver 1.4.2) with

Also, just now, tried that extension with 6.1.3 -> 5.4.7 (all using Ubuntu

Currently the native MySQL ( MariaDB) sdbc has a setting '

Did you say that the SQL statement will run with Run SQL Direct turned on?

Howdy,
Support for that is built in and is available from a command line or script
as you prefer.
Here is a good overview of that:

Yes - by posting the question using the TDF web site at
https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/questions/ which has full support for
attaching files.

Howdy Lou,
OK, so first thing. Base does not support updating data in Views (postgres
or any other database backend).
Second thing, the order of your columns in a table definition in a
relational database is meaningless for the most part. I know that the Base
Table viewer doesn't allow you to
@V Stuart
I thought that also - but that isn't working, as I just proved to myself,
with LO 6.2.0.1 RC1 (under Ubuntu 18.04.1) at least.

Thanks for finding those issues - I guess lots of folks thinking the same
thing. I tried searching the expert configuration looking for any option
that might change the behavior also.
Also searched the on-line help and the last version of the Calc guide and
found zero entries for "Formatted
Howdy,
I believe that the difference is in where the function hails from:
CONCATENATE is defined in the ODF standard.
CONCAT comes by way of Excel support.
I think you have a point about how the system should respond when
erroneously using ranges for the ODF function (not supported) and could be
Hi,
Right, so just tried this with 6.1.4.2 and it seem that from the dialog box
the transparency setting is being ignored.
On an upside, if instead I use the Transparency setting in the Sidebar
Image page that is working fine.
BTW also checked 6.2 (Ubuntu) and same thing.
Not sure if there is
Howdy,
The carriage return is in the string but in the case of the Query designer
the result grid only displays single line data so it appears it is not
there.
If the query is used to populate controls on a form (grid or single field)
there is a property for the control 'MultiLine Input' and
LibreOffice no longer offers custom open and save dialog boxes and instead
rely on the OS support dialogs.

Howdy,
Just tried this using the latest build (yesterday) of 6.3 and created a
table with two three fields named; id, Select and Integer.
Used query designer to generate this SQL select statement
SELECT "id", "Select", "Integer" FROM "tblKeyWords"
and it is working as expected.
Perhaps you mean
Howdy,
Well, I'm using LibreOffice 6.2.3 (with Ubuntu) and have created a csv file
with two data rows
12.12
12.123
Then set my global locale to Italian(Italy) and try to open the csv file.
(which is using a tab to separate values btw)
If in the dialog box I change the defaulted Italian(Italy)
Yes, but only for existing comments.
You can not expand the size of the box when you are entering the initial
comment text.
In a cell with some comment text select View Comment and you can then
resize the box and the custom size is retained for each cell comment
changed when saved.

Well, I've got both 6.3 and 6.4 open and in the Format top level menu the
only change was to a string.
With 6.3 it is Format->Page...
With 6.4 it is Format->Page Style
But both versions do the same thing, which is they open the Page Style
dialog.
In both versions I can also change the margin

Howdy Dave,
That is the review mode (the grey out blocks) so that the reviewers can see
what is being redacted.
You get that when you select the 'direct to pdf' button on the tool bar.
To the left are two drop down buttons, White and Black, click either of
those and you get the PDF with the
Howdy,
Good news! There is already a solution for what you are looking for.
LibreOffice OnLine has been under development and available for a couple of
years.
You can find a user level guide to the software on the documentation page:
