On my prevoius Max I had a stage 7 with Kerker pipe which I was very happy
with.
On my current scooter, the motor is still stock and I have open SuperTrapp
slip-ons only.
Got rather attached to the 4-2 look but the headers are stock (I think they
suck) and the diameter is WAY too small.

I have the Works Street Trackers W/ARS, in the stock length, whatever that is.
I love them if I had it to do again I would get 1" longer than stock. I live on
a pretty bad dirt road. Right Wizard?? Lots of sugar sand and roots. I have a
clearance problem (Hindle 421) so I can only lower the

Bob, the ARS is a notched collar at the top of the shock. It has 3
different length clearances. You would use the one with the most for
you. When adding a passenger, either the middle or least clearance. It
acts like a overload spring. This way you don't have to mess with the
preload you have set
Hi Steve,
I only carry one Nikon body and lens assortment. (Actually, I don't carry
much of any camera gear any more, but it's a phase.) I got an old Spiratone
fanny-pak camera bag some time ago. It's awesome. carries my motordrive FE
w/4 lenses an assortment of film and other assorted junk. If
test hope this works

I also have the Works shocks. Mine are stock length with the billet ARS
option. They may seem a bit over priced but consider the fact that I will
never have to buy another shock for my bike again as these can be rebuilt.
So I feel they are worth every penny spent.
As for the ride improvement,

No, what I actually need is a bike that I can haul ass through the corners.
Hopefully I will have that issue taken care of by summer or fall of 2001.
I have had the pipe smackin issue even when i had the stock headers.
If anybody is interested, I will be getting rid of some extra parts soon.

I bought one two years ago. … a full power black max. It is wonderful. I find
that I enjoy it more because the roads here in Scotland are anything but

Hey Thomas,
How do you know you don't have a float problem? I'm assuming you don't have
a big puddle of gas on the floor, so that rules out loose hose fittings or
leaky hose. Have you pulled off the hoses to check if the pump's putting out
any pressure/volume? It might be a bad pressure switch

Nothing worst than a torn diaphram, especially when your pump

Funny thing I bought my Barnett plate from someone who said it slipped
when he installed a nitrous system . I now have a operating nitrous
system it does not slip. I"m using stock steels disks with the half

Darrin,
I think you may have flooded the engine ... it is not hard to do. You
can pull a plug out and check, (see if it is all wet). I am sure you
have really pulled the battery down too so it is good you have it on
the charger If it is really wet you are going to have to let it
sit a little
Peter,
Yes ... as you apparently already know ... you are running too lean
... the higher octane fuel will make the engine run richer .. that is
why it is improving your situation .. Why don't you just slide a
shim, (washer), under you needles for the time being ... that should
make things
