Hi,
I wonder if a plugin like this exists for vdr or if if it could be done? It is
really handy.
I hope a developer with the knowledge make this dream comes true:)

Hi,
I tried this version of vdr with the aim of displaying subtitles on sky italia
channels but there were no subtitles shown at all, while at the same time
tvheadend shows the subtitles. Please tell me if I have to do something to help.
Thanks and best regards,
Sami
Thank you very much for your quick response, Klaus. This is definitely a great
news!

However, there's still the problem of (DVB) subtitles: similar tearing
makes the subtitles unusable. On top of that, opening an OSD when there
are subtitles seems to make VDR crash and burn.
Has anyone had the same problem and possibly even come up with the
solution?

... and in addition to the load issue, there's the slight problem that
on TV it shows only the OSD. No TV picture, no
ugin CVS, which gives me
picture but still bleeding subtitles. Now it won't crash if I try to
access the OSD, it just stops responding to remote. :P

So, nothing that requires scaling, works.
libxine1 pacakge is version 1.1.18.1-1+b2, same goes for
libxine1-ffmpeg, libavcodec52 is version 5:0.5.1+svn20100411-0.0,
libavutil49 4:0.5.1-3, libpostproc51 5:0.5.1+svn20100411-0.0.

Something like this _might_ work for you.
It works for me. Two DVB-S cards accessing the same
LNBs and switches simultaneously will _not_ work
without the LNB sharing patch.

I have three quad lnb so it should be possible to use all cards on my
system.
And you are telling this NOW. The necessary diseqc setup
is VERY different for simple "universal" LNBs and quad LNBs.
I bet your LNBs have four
