Generally, a SIM card is needed on a temporary basis to set up an
iPhone. The SIM card does not need to be active or functional though.
Your student will need to create an Apple ID if he does not have one
already. This will provide iCloud backup services along with other

I have always liked Humanware displays Myself but maybe that is because I
used their note taking devices for so long. The braille seems to be more
crisper then with other displays. Although I do like the 14 cell display
