You don’t need extra hardware if instead of rerouting the data you mirror it. Somewhere along the line there’s a router with some iptables entries send the console data to weewx. All I’d suggest is to change them to do mirroring. @Pat- So you’re in Florida North too! Be glad when this weather

I came upon this because my moon info was not populating. When I tried to install pyephem there were errors that setup couldn't be found. I corrected that with pip install --upgrade setuptools Then pyephem installed fine. This was likely due to an upgrade of Mint from 18.3 to 19 I believe it was

Having has the 2902A then bought the 2000 console, I'll say the 2000 is handsdown the winner. Both for the look and info available, and more importantly, the ease of setup. The awnet app isn't the easiest thing to use. It works, but it can be painful when it doesn't cooperate with your router.
